July in review...

I was just realizing that Savannah will be 4 next month, wow does time fly!!! Not exactly sure what to do just yet, she wants to have a friend party, my anxiety says "no absolutely not", and yet I know that it is that time that she is old enough and since she has been in school she now has lots more friends. So if there are any ideas on what to do, I would gladly except the ideas and encouragement. So far I have thought of possibly doing a water party, not sure yet.
This month has been calm yet eventful, Savannah got what is called Hand, Foot and Mouth Disease so we took her out of school for the month so that she wouldn't get any worse, and it wasn't fun.
The fourth and the twenty-fourth were different than normal years, it seems as though I end up crying on both of those days every year because all I want to do is go to a parade, carnival and watch fireworks, but Eric can't stand the heat so he always gets grumpy and I end up crying. So this year especially because I am pregnant I didn't want to get upset so I didn't really plan anything, I figured "no plans, no disasters". It went well, we went to a car show in Logan on the fourth, and Lagoon on the twenty fourth, no parades, no carnivals and no fireworks (except the sparkler that burned Erics foot, I think that his Mom cursed him. hehehe). It was a change in pace and it all worked out. We went camping, and I made it through the nights not having to go to the bathroom and getting eatin by a bear, I wish we could have stayed a couple of weeks.
We had our Big Ultrasound this month as well and the baby looks great, the ultrasound tech said that she counted all fingers and toes, the 4 heart chambers looked great and the baby is still growing about two weeks ahead of schedule, we got some really neat looking 4-d pics. As for me this pregnancy is a lot different than with Savannah, it seems like I already don't have any room left for this little one to grow, yet when I had Savannah I hadn't even gotten to that point. We are looking forward to this new edition with excitement and some fear, I think that at least me I am a little more nervous this time, even though we did the newborn thing with Savannah that was 4 years ago and I feel like I have already forgotten it all, the only good thing is that we have a great helper on our hands. Savannah tells us that she is no longer the baby and she is going to be the big sister.
